How did it all start?

From a very young age, building camps and tree houses was almost an obsession, every project became more and more challenging with bigger and better ideas.
Unfortunately my summer time hobby came to an abrupt end the day my grandmother found one of her dining room chairs up a tree along with other items from around the house which had seemed to have simply “Gone missing”!

Last summer I went back to my childhood home to see if my first tree house was still standing and to my amazement... there she was. Unfortunately, half the roof was missing and the floor had long since rotted but the main structure was still "more or less" intact.

Seeing it brought back so many memories of the times my mates and I had. The summer evenings up in the den eating chocolate biscuits which I seem to remember was the entry fee. Sitting round a camp fire cooking sausages on sticks, toasting marshmallows and telling scary stories. It was like a home from home.

I will be updating this blog as much as I can so please pop back and while your here, feel free to make a comment.

Have been researching tiny homes and happy that the movement is coming to the uk, but having problems finding out the road legal dimensions for the uk, and maximum height, would like a 20x8ft, can you offer any advise.

Love your work and the dry walls really give the space the look of home, great website, keep up the good work, many thanks
