Tiny House Break in Clashnessie Bay, Scotland

Tiny House Site at Clashnessie Bay, Scotland.
Clashnessie is a small crofting village overlooking the Atlantic Ocean approximately 100 miles from Inverness. The village has just 19 houses scattered widely over roughly a square mile area, ten of which are original nineteenth-century crofters' cottages. In the 1960's the population was said to be as little a dozen people although the village use to have a Post Office, a small shop and a local pub.
The area seems to have its own micro-climate and is generally mild due to its location close to the Atlantic Ocean Gulf Stream.
In the spring 2014 we will be installing our first rented Tiny House in this lovely location a stones throw from the beach just to the left of the trees in the center of the picture above. It will be totally off grid powered by a wind turbine and/or solar panels, will have the latest design of composting toilet and a small multi fuel log burner for heat and boiling hot water.
